Short: Belgian Coast

Late April 2025, another day I had to work at OST airport, and ... another day of cruise ships in nearby Zeebrugge. The first one to arrive was Celebrity Apex, coming in early in the morning, so I positioned myself at the viewing point right behind the cruise quay.

A bit later, it was time for a real European icon, at least in the name, the Rotterdam of Holland America Line. This is the 7th ship in their fleet to sail under the name Rotterdam, and she 's pretty nice to photograph so I really liked her arrival in Zeebrugge. She docked right behind the already tied up Celebrity Apex, the good thing in Zeebrugge is that all ships eventually turn right in front of the viewpoint. This time both ships turned upon arrival and docked bow out towards the sea.
