Short: Another short trip in Belgium with a Boeing 707 in the end!

Yes I know, these short trips in Belgium are sometimes boring ... but I always try to make it worth the effort by visiting some small places of interest along the way!

So after another 2 days working at Ostend-Bruges Airport (OST), I stopped at my favourite place in the area, the lighthouse of Oostende where you can also find the anchor of the Belgica, the famous Belgian expedition ship.

After stopping at 2 local thrift stores I made my way back home, however by the time I was on the highway I realized I wasn't too far from a place I somehow never stopped at in all these years ... Expo Gowalt (http://expogowalt.be/nl/) in Wetteren, why would I stop there? Because for years there has been a Boeing 707 on the parking lot and since 2014 it has been placed on the roof! There are also some other strange pieces around the parking, including older trucks, an old London type bus, a statue of Liberty and a T33 fighter jet in very poor condition, since the Boeing 707 has been on the roof, parts were taken off and these parts are now stored in poor condition on the edge of the parking lot as well.
