On Friday the 18th of March I drove 200 km from
home to Oostende to board the Larkspur of Trans
Europa Ferries to Ramsgate. |
I stayed in the Pegwell Bay hotel wich has a
great view over the Pegwell Bay Marchlands
nature reserve and the old Power Station. |

In the evening I took some eveningphotos of the
bay before going to dinner. The next day I
visited everything that interested me in the
area starting at Reculver, |
then I stopped at the Manston RAF Museums at
Kent Airport and the North Foreland lighthouse
before heading back to Ramsgate Port. |

In the evening I headed back
out to Dover for some evening shots of Dover
Ferryport. The next day I started at that same
spot to take a walk along the White Cliffs East
of Dover, |
from there you have a nice view over Dover
ferryport and it was easy to see the new P&O
Spirit of Britain, there was just a bit too much
fog. |
Next stop was Margate where I didn't stay long
and then some good old "fish and chips" in
Ramsgate before going back home. |
