For this trip I decided to
go by train so I booked a ticket from my home
station to Brussels and then the Thalys High
Speed Train to Paris only to take yet another
train to Cherbourg. |

I planned my trip so that I could see the
"Disney Magic" in Cherbourg. The other things I
wanted to visit were the Maritime Museum and the
submarine "Le Redoutable". |

Cherbourg is an old port that used to accomodate
oceanliners and the old terminal is still
there. I also rented a bike and made a trip to
the nearest lighthouse at Cap Lévy. |

I spent my last day looking around the port and
saw some nice ferries before taking the 8 hour
trainride home again. |
