Cap Gris Nez to Dunkerque 31 August 2011

First stop on this trip was Cap Gris Nez with its great lighthouseon top of the cliffs, at the bottom of the cliffs there is a nice beach where you can pick fresh mussles.
Next was Calais where I walked around before climbing all 271 steps of the lighthouse to have a view over the port, the old medievel lighthouse and the town itself.
The port entrance at Calais is fantastic for viewing the cross-channel ferries like Seafrance Berlioz, Seafrance Rodin and P&O Spirit of Britain.
Next stop was Gravelines with the old decommissioned lighthouse from where I had a good view over the area before going to Dunkerque.
In Dunkerque I first went to the old Saint Pol light and the to the East of the old port from where I took some evening shots of both lights.
