First stop on this trip was Cap Gris Nez with
its great lighthouseon top of the cliffs, at the
bottom of the cliffs there is a nice beach where
you can pick fresh mussles. |

Next was Calais where I walked around before
climbing all 271 steps of the lighthouse to have
a view over the port, the old medievel
lighthouse and the town itself. |

The port entrance at Calais is fantastic for
viewing the cross-channel ferries like Seafrance
Berlioz, Seafrance Rodin and P&O Spirit of
Britain. |

Next stop was Gravelines with the old
decommissioned lighthouse from where I had a
good view over the area before going to
Dunkerque. |

In Dunkerque I first went to the old Saint Pol
light and the to the East of the old port from
where I took some evening shots of both lights. |
